Well what can I say This is one mixed up book, talk about a woman seeking retribution She takes this to a whole new level , I found this extremely hard to read and disturbing , I believe Charles deserved teaching a lesson, but never to this extreme. This was my first by this author, but it is very well written, just hard to read due to the nature of the book I would read by this author. Extreme puppy play and body modification taleA greedy lawyer seduces the world s current richest woman can you notice the power hungry billionaire trend here with the belief she can easily be outwitted His plan is to marry her and promptly leave her with a sizable portion of her fortune Ashley foresees the scheme, and assisted by her connections and wealth, turns her husband into her pet and keeps him around as a manner of punishment and humiliation for his attempt at deceiving her.The premise is interesting, though it suffers from its banality, and I m rather jaded with the billionaire excuse and laziness for creating a personage of limitless resources and great influence and power This is my second read from Chris Bellows, the first being Collared Leashed , which I considered far superior in its candidness prose and simplicity of plot The narration is separated between Ashley and Corky, her husband s pet I found the prose style to be very alike from one point of view to the other, strange when being from fundamentally two opposites personalities The prose used comes out, to my belief, dangerously close of being perceived as pompous and pretentious with its use of uncommon vocabulary and clinical words This creates a feeling of disconnectedness with the emotions involved, which you as a reader, want to feel and be as closed as possible to them The plot is all right, though fantastic and unrealistic Stay away if you like the story to be grounded and believable I like how the plot make uses of flashbacks to give away details of how the two protagonists came to their current situation The tale starts off at the near end of the story, as the story is told, flashbacks of the current narrator is told in tidbits fashion I found that refreshing, we too often see linear and unimaginative plots developments with these type of stories. The story will surely appeal to people with a penchant for body modification, medical play, puppy play and humiliation, and an impressive use of implements and special gears Read it if its your kink Otherwise, the writing craft, style, plot and characters are not going to be compelling enough to keep you interested. Intense Not for the weak soul. Definitely Intense Definitely psychotic Definitely messed up But,,, I couldn t put the book down and I finished reading it in one day Hmmm might need to read from this author. Told from the point of view of Charles Barrington and Ashley Duval, this novel details the complete transformation of both and subjugation of Charles, who schemed to win a large portion of Ashley s fortune, inherited from her Aunt Meredith Most of these details are told in a retrospective Charles has been turned into a mute pet for Ashley, always aroused, never satisfied Instead, he is to satisfy those around him, after being altered and conditioned to do so Ashley s cruelty is a loving one, she cares for her pet and strives to increase his stimulation In the end, she offers him ample opportunity to pay penance for his misdeeds Highly recommended. This was a weird and crazy book that I liked Charles Barrington married Ashley Duval to get his hands on her money Charles is a lawyer in the office that is handling her late aunt s estate he wines and fines her although he can t afford it He proposes and he makes up a pre nup and when she takes it and brings it back he signs it without reading it Ashley is forceful during sex but he puts up with it thinking of the millions he will be getting when he divorces her Ashley inherits an island where caucasian men are naked and the women are in charge and after quitting his job they go to the island where she keeps him frustrated sexual When they return he serves her with divorce papers and she turns him into a pet dog as revenge This was a sick twisted tale that I liked I have read this author before so I knew what I was in for with reading this book This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. Charles Barrington, An Ambitious Attorney, Plots To Extract Millions From A Wealthy Young Woman He Is Bright, Yet Too Impatient To Labor In Impoverishment While The Answer To His Quest For Financial Comfort Appears To Lie With A Client Of His Firm, Ashley Duval, The Heiress To A Huge Fortune Barrington Romances Her And Seeks Courtship Solely For Money, Eventually Marrying The Lovely Young Woman But Unbeknownst Charles, Ms Duval Stays One Step Ahead Of His Scheming Plot This Seemingly Innocent Heiress Has Certain Genetic Inclinations That Cause Her To Strive For The Subjugation Of The MaleIn A Thought Provoking Plot, Charles, As The Unwary Plaintive In The Divorce Suit, Expects Millions In Settlement His Financial Dreamed Realized At Last But, His Plan Goes Awry He Is Instead Subjected To Thorough Female Domination By Way Of Dog Training, Body Modification, Extreme Humiliation, Extensive Oral Service, Canings, Sensory Deprivation, And A Barrage Of Psychological CounselingOnce Again, Chris Bellows Tells An Entertaining Story That Also Titillates The Prurient Mind In Terms Of D S Literature, This Book Is Not For The Initiate
